As we were discussing the other day on this forum that MS plans to showcase its Futuro-e car at the Auto Expo this year, there are 16 more cars to look out for. These include the latest versions of Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga,S-Cross. S-Presso, Ciaz S and a few more.
Then come the much talked about facelifted Vitara Brezza and Ignis.
The one that I wasn't aware of before is the Smart Hybrid Swift will be introduced to India in this auto meet.
This should give MS fans a lot to look at, at the expo.

I am surprised that I am not familiar with the Auto Expo. Is it similar to Aero show? Also, where and when is it held? Is it open to all?
Secondly, does the Swift Hybrid have just a similar combination of motor plus electric power or is there something more to the Swift other than the improved fuel efficiency?
I guess you meant Aero India, which is an air show and aviation exhibition held in Bengaluru, biennially. Yes, the concepts are similar. At auto expo, the best minds come together on a single platform and showcase their developments and the best of the automotive world. It is one of the premier autoshows in the world.

Like previous editions, the event would take place at two locations:
1. Vehicles from 7th to 12th February, at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, UP, India.
2. Components from 6th to 9th February, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India.

The expo is open to all those who purchase tickets. You can find the tickets on Bookmyshow.

The event is a thoroughly planned one. You can find thorough information regarding the event on
Auto Expo
The new Swift Hybrid supposedly does not look any different from the old ones, except a little hybrid tag on the rear end and honeycomb-like grill in the front. The interiors won't be changed much as well.
However, there should be an improvement in performance due to the combination of motor and electric power. This car is much needed in India's traffic and pollution.
The car was said to be launched in India by Jan 2020.
Here's a two minute video that I found on Youtube that explains the details much better.
@HJ57 another car that is said to debut in the Autoexpo 2020, is the Maruti Jimny. This is mainly just to gauge customer feedback to understand whether the car will be accepted as well as it has been accepted in international markets. However, the car will not be launched any time soon in India. It will just be imported from Japan for display.
