Since the Maruti Suzuki S-presso is so much in demand and such a loved car in India, that just within 5 months of its launch it sold over 35000 units. What makes the car this impactful?
What are the specifications of this car?

Of what I know, the car's performance is good but the styling is bad. The car does not look very appealing from out as well as in. There are many more cars that look better and have more features compared to this car in this segment but I guess the performance makes it so desirable.
The car doesn't have a basic rear view camera or rear screen wiper. A car in this range with its competitors offering better features should also be offering them.
I agree with @Keshav. The performance of the car has caused its demand.
As for the specifications, S-Presso has one petrol engine to offer of 998 cc. It comes in the manual as well as automatic version and based on the variant its mileage if 21.4 to 21.7kmpl. The car is a hatchback that can seat 5 people and is 3565 mm long, 1520 mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2380 mm.
According to me, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is the best in its segment. The interior and exterior are pretty simple and decent. There aren't many options in this segment as it is. But the mileage is good and its a really good drive on the open roads along the outskirts of cities. The only issue I find is finding reasonably priced accessories.
