Maruti Suzuki Eeco Roof Racks

As I use my Eeco for lots of delivery work, sometimes the boot space is totally jampacked and it gets messy while unloading the goods or trying to find something particular. So, I was thinking of installing a roof rack so that I could place some of the delivery goods on top. Does it sound okay to put a roof rack on an Eeco? Also how much weight on an average can roof racks carry? Should I go for a roof rack of a roof rack box?

I haven't really seen an Eeco with a roof box but roof racks are definitely common. Now that I imagine an Eeco with a roof box the van looks a bit odd with it due to its basic style. And since you use it for delivering goods, installing a box which will have a lid will restrict the number of items you can put in the box even if they may be light in weight.
Different roof racks have different capacities. However, you also need to check the load-carrying capacity of your vehicle's roof which comes in the user's manual. Once you know both you will be able to do the calculations.

What would be the approximate cost of a roof rack and how much would it cost to install it? Are you aware of some good roof racks for Maruti Suzuki Eeco?
Well, the cost of installation won't be much or might altogether be nil depending on the mechanic or accessories dealer who will help you out with the installation.

The price of these racks would depend on the quality, the dealer and would range anywhere between 5,000-9,000 Rs.
