Apart from the aesthetics, I don't have other complaints about the car. For those looking for a minivan, this is the perfect one in this particular price range. The gears shift smoothly and after turns, you can easily control the car. The boot space is amazing for luggage. The seats and the air conditioning is average. This car does well on the highways as well as the crowded bumpy Indian roads. The pick-up and the power of the engine are good, it being a 4 cylinder engine but of course, you cannot compare it with higher-end cars.
The driver airbag also makes it safe combined with other safety features of the car. However, the body is not as strong as many other hatchbacks and sedans.
Overall this car is pretty reliable for families and transfer purposes (cargo as well as humans).
As I use my Eeco for lots of delivery work, sometimes the boot space is totally jampacked and it gets messy while unloading the goods or trying to find something particular. So, I was thinking of installing a roof rack so that I could place some of the delivery goods on top. Does it sound okay...
I own a Maruti Suzuki Eeco which is 2 years old now. However due to wear and tear not only have the seats gone bad but there are several factors that I never quite liked about the van. I want to replace the steering, the seats and also make the windows powered. Any suggestions about the same...
I remember Maruti Suzuki Eeco scoring a zero on the crash test in 2016 and yet the sales figures were not affected. Since most other vans like Omni, Versa, etc have been discontinued and Eeco being one of the known vans, how safe is the vehicle now? Has it cleared the global NCAP crash tests now?
Since Maruti Suzuki Eeco is a van and the space behind the driver's seat is pretty large, can the seats be removed to make it a cargo-carrying van? If yes, what is the payload of the car? How much is the boot space with the seats intact?
Is the Maruti Suzuki Eeco the same as Maruti Suzuki Versa? Both the cars look pretty much similar even though both would score pretty low in terms of looks. Also, is Eeco still being made or has the production stopped?
