Where a few of Maruti Suzuki's cars failed the NCAP crash tests, did Dzire clear it? What are the safety features of the car and can it be considered as a safe car? Also, did it feature in the #SafeCarsForIndia campaign?

I can help you with the safety features of Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire now comes with standard safety features like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and brake assist, dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter, engine immobilizer and seat belt warning lamp and buzzer. The new DZire is around 85 kgs lighter than the previous model with the increased use of ultra and high tensile steel which has helped improve its mileage and ride quality. The previous versions were heavier than the current one and Baleno and Dzire have the same chassis.
I think it also passed the NCAP crash test with a score of 3.
I believe the new Suzuki DZire has managed to receive a 3-star safety rating in Euro NCAP crash test. According to the crash test, the passenger compartment of the car remained stable in the frontal offset test and there is a good protection of legs for both the driver and passenger. The car has dual airbags, one on the driver's side, anti-lock braking system and electronic brakeforce distribution along with child seat anchorages.
